Terms & conditions
Last updated: 19.09.2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to products and services supplied by Black Label Graphics.
By accepting a quotation or instructing us to carry out work, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
1. About us
Business name: Black Label Graphics
Business address: 84 Moorland Road, CF818UJ
Email: enquiries@blacklabelgraphics.co.uk
Telephone: 07818839419
2. Quotations
Quotations are based on the information available to us at the time they are prepared.
A quotation may be subject to inspection of the vehicle, confirmation of measurements, artwork requirements, material availability and the condition of the vehicle or surface.
Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for [30] days.
A quotation does not become a binding order until it has been accepted by both parties and any required deposit has been paid.
Where applicable, VAT will be shown separately on quotations and invoices.
3. Design and artwork
Where design work is included, we will prepare artwork based on the information and requirements supplied by the customer.
Customers are responsible for checking and approving artwork before production.
Once artwork has been approved, changes requested by the customer may result in additional design or production charges.
We are not responsible for errors that are present in artwork that the customer has approved.
Where customers supply logos, images, fonts or other artwork, the customer confirms that they have the appropriate rights or permissions for us to use those materials for the project.
4. Bespoke work
Many of our services are made specifically for individual customers and vehicles.
This may include:
Bespoke vehicle graphics
Custom wraps
Motorsport liveries
Custom decals
Bespoke signage
Custom printed products
Artwork and design services
Because bespoke work is created specifically for the customer’s requirements, cancellation and refund rights may differ from those applying to standard, off-the-shelf products. Any applicable statutory rights will continue to apply.
5. Deposits and payment
Where a deposit is required, the amount will be stated in the quotation or invoice.
Work may not commence until the required deposit has been received.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due before or on completion/collection of the work.
For larger projects, staged payments may be agreed.
If payment is overdue, we reserve the right to pause work or withhold delivery/collection until payment arrangements have been resolved, subject to applicable law.
6. Customer vehicles
Customers must ensure that vehicles supplied to us are legally theirs to use and that they have authority to instruct us to carry out the work.
The customer must inform us of any known:
Previous paintwork
Resprays
Body repairs
Rust
Corrosion
Damage
Flaking paint
Existing vinyl
Decals
Wax, ceramic coatings or other surface treatments
Other conditions that may affect installation or removal
We will take reasonable care of vehicles while they are in our possession.
However, vinyl application and removal can reveal or affect pre-existing defects, poorly bonded paint, previous repairs or unsuitable surfaces.
Where we identify a condition that may affect the work, we will discuss it with the customer where reasonably possible before proceeding.
7. Vehicle preparation
Vehicles should be provided in a suitable condition for installation.
Unless specifically included in the quotation, removal of existing graphics, adhesive, ceramic coatings, paint protection film or other materials may incur an additional charge.
Additional preparation required because of the condition of a vehicle may also be chargeable.
8. Colour and materials
Printed colours may vary slightly depending on the material, printing process, lighting and viewing conditions.
Digital or physical previews are intended as a representation of the finished product and may not perfectly reproduce the final colour.
We will use the materials agreed in the quotation or a suitable equivalent where agreed or reasonably necessary.
9. Installation
Installation times are estimates unless a specific completion date has been agreed in writing.
Installation may be affected by:
Vehicle condition
Preparation requirements
Material availability
Design changes
Weather or environmental conditions
Supplier delays
Unforeseen circumstances
We will communicate significant delays where reasonably possible.
10. Care after installation
Customers will receive appropriate care information where relevant.
The customer is responsible for following recommended cleaning and maintenance instructions.
Failure to follow appropriate care instructions may affect the appearance, durability or warranty of the graphics.
11. Warranty and defects
Where a product or installation is covered by a specific manufacturer or Black Label Graphics warranty, the applicable terms will be explained to the customer.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or limits any legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you believe there is a problem with our work, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs or other relevant information where appropriate.
We will investigate reported issues and, where appropriate, arrange a suitable remedy in accordance with your legal rights.
12. Customer-supplied artwork
Where customers supply artwork, Black Label Graphics is not responsible for the accuracy, legality or ownership of that artwork.
We may refuse to reproduce material where we reasonably believe doing so could infringe copyright, trade marks or other rights, or where the material is unlawful or inappropriate.
13. Photography and portfolio use
We may ask for permission to photograph completed work for use in our portfolio, website and social media.
We will not assume permission simply because work has been completed.
Where customer permission is required, we will obtain it separately.
14. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Black Label Graphics retains ownership of original design concepts, artwork and creative materials produced by us.
Customers are granted the right to use the final approved artwork for the purpose for which it was commissioned, subject to full payment.
We may charge separately for the transfer of editable/source artwork files where requested.
Customer-supplied logos, trademarks and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
15. Cancellation
Cancellation rights depend on the type of work ordered and whether the customer is acting as a consumer or as a business.
For bespoke work, materials or services already specifically commissioned or produced for a customer, reasonable costs already incurred may be payable where permitted by law.
Where consumer cancellation rights apply, we will provide the information required by law.
16. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
This includes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability relating to death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights.
Subject to those limitations, our liability will be limited to what is reasonable and lawful in the circumstances.
17. Complaints
If you have a concern about our products or services, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will aim to investigate complaints fairly and promptly.
Email: enquiries@blacklabelgraphics.co.uk
18. Business customers
Where the customer is acting in the course of a business, additional terms may be agreed as part of the quotation or contract.
Where there is a conflict between these terms and specific written terms agreed for a particular project, the specific agreed terms will take precedence to the extent of the conflict.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to your order will normally be the version provided or made available when your order is accepted.
20. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or protections available to consumers.
